Munir Kassa Eshetu, MD

Dr. Kassa is Reproductive Health Safety and Quality Improvement Director for CIRHT in Ethiopia. He is an obstetrician and gynecologist  with nine years’ experience in clinical care, program management and quality improvement. He worked with the Ministry of Health for two years on advancing the quality of maternal and child health, especially supporting the Ethiopian Hospital Alliance for Quality (EHAQ) producing an MNCH audit tool for use throughout the country. He also spent time as a project manager for maternal care with Jhpiego. His practice has included important time he spent working in the east of Ethiopia serving underserved women from the surrounding areas. Dr. Kassa is a passionate advocate for women’s reproductive rights.
