Azeb is the Director for Midwifery Education and Training Support for CIRHT partner schools. She oversees implementation of curriculum and faculty capacity building, ensures that competency based education is delivered to students, so they can deliver quality reproductive health service to the community. Based in Ethiopia, she has 15 years of clinical and public health experience in reproductive health, particularly in family planning and comprehensive abortion care (CAC). Previously, Azeb worked for EngenderHealth–Ethiopia. For five years she was a Project Officer for an Access to Better Reproductive Health Initiative project, building the capacity of health professionals and improving health facility readiness for family planning, with a focus on long acting methods and CAC delivery. Azeb holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master of Public Health, and a Master of Science in Health Sciences Education.
