Bob Riddle

Bob Riddle has 30+ years as a technologist. As someone who’s been part of core teams for complex national and global networking and information services projects, his roles include network design for online and offline access, server and system administration, and developing rapid prototypes for exploratory educational technology projects. During that time, Bob has been involved in the development of an institutional, distributed file system and an inter­-institutional authentication system. Bob was also assigned to Internet2 where he contributed to development of a cross­-domain dynamic network bandwidth reservation service. He has spent time leading applied research efforts in the computer technology world, managing development efforts, service delivery, and network deployment. He has been supporting the underlying technology for international partnerships at the medical school, with a focus on CIRHT. Bob is currently a Technologist for the Research IT Program within Medical School Information Services at University of Michigan.
